The XR70CX panel-mount device, with a front dimension of 74x32mm, is a microprocessor-controlled cold room controller for normal and low temperatures. It features three relay outputs for controlling the compressor, defrosting (which can be electric or hot gas), and the evaporator fan. There is also a 4th configurable relay (e.g., for switching light on or off via a front button). Depending on the version, up to three NTC or PTC probes can be connected simultaneously. Depending on the configuration, these can be used for room temperature, defrosting, fan control, etc. For the third probe, the digital input is reconfigured (depending on the version), and the 4th probe (depending on the version) is wired via the HOT-KEY connection. This is used for condenser temperature alarm. The device can be programmed via HOT-KEY, or a parameter set can be saved to HOT-KEY. Depending on the model, an external X-REP display can alternatively be connected to the HOT-KEY connection.
