This, in turn, is caused by internal acid formation or external environmental influences. This often results in tiny micro-leaks the size of a human hair (approx. 300µm), which are extremely difficult to locate and repair. The Capillary Seal sealant from CGS Handschug was specially developed for this type of leakage. The Capillary Seal sealant seals without hardening through film formation and can also be easily used for prevention. It is designed to be compatible with any existing oil or refrigerant. At the leaky point, a large pressure difference occurs during the transition into the atmosphere. Here, the sealant acts and forms a film through special additives that creates a strong bond with the metal or plastic. This effect can be compared to the capillary effect.
